2. First you must change the saturation of the picture to make it black and white. You can leave the picture in color, but black and white makes the brush very clear and in the best shape to show up whenever you use it. This is how mine looks in b&w.
3. Next, make sure your image is in a layer NOT A BACKGROUND LAYER, just a single layer and the effects must be cleared like in the image below

4. Now go to EDIT >> DEFINE BRUSH PRESENT (or yours should be something to that extent).

5. Then a pop-up box will ask you to name the brush, I will name mine header.

6. Now when you go to the brush application you can select it from your list and use it on your picture! See it wasn't that hard!(:
